GBC’s public policy states that discrimination is prohibited across employees, contractors, board members, executives, contracted individuals, businesses, nonprofits, and GBC-controlled real or virtual properties. GBC will conduct an initial review to determine whether the issue qualifies as a grievance under this policy. If accepted, GBC will assign the grievance to an appropriate internal reviewer or decision-maker. GBC will seek to complete its initial investigation within 30 business days, where reasonably possible. If additional time is needed, GBC will notify the complainant and provide a revised timeline. GBC will communicate the outcome of the review, any corrective or preventive action taken where appropriate, and confirmation when the grievance has been closed.GBC will limit access to grievance information to individuals with a legitimate need to know, maintain records of grievance handling, separate accused parties from decision-making where appropriate, and provide alternate reporting channels if the grievance involves company leadership.GBC prohibits retaliation against any stakeholder who raises a good-faith grievance, participates in a grievance review, provides information, or assists in the resolution process.
