Stakeholder Grievance Procedure

Stakeholder Grievance Procedure Gaming Benefits Corporation maintains a publicly accessible reporting mechanism through its website, allowing individuals to submit concerns related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other policy or compliance concerns. GBC’s public policy states that discrimination is prohibited across employees, contractors, board members, executives, contracted individuals, businesses, nonprofits, and GBC-controlled real or virtual properties. The policy provides reporting channels through the company website, the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Board of Directors. GBC’s policy includes anti-retaliation protections for good-faith reporting and participation in investigations, confidentiality commitments to the extent practical and appropriate, prompt investigation of complaints, and communication of complaint status, investigation results, and corrective or preventive action to the complainant. To further align with PSG3.1, GBC is expanding its existing non-discrimination and anti-harassment reporting procedure into a broader stakeholder grievance procedure. The expanded procedure will clarify the grounds for accepting grievances, identify covered stakeholder groups, provide targeted response and resolution timelines, describe escalation and resolution steps, and confirm protections against retaliation for all stakeholders, including employees, contractors, nonprofit partners, raffle participants, vendors, regulators, community members, and other affected parties.

Grievance Review Process

GBC will acknowledge receipt of a submitted grievance within five business days. GBC will conduct an initial review to determine whether the issue qualifies as a grievance under this policy. If accepted, GBC will assign the grievance to an appropriate internal reviewer or decision-maker. GBC will seek to complete its initial investigation within 30 business days, where reasonably possible. If additional time is needed, GBC will notify the complainant and provide a revised timeline. GBC will communicate the outcome of the review, any corrective or preventive action taken where appropriate, and confirmation when the grievance has been closed.

GBC will limit access to grievance information to individuals with a legitimate need to know, maintain records of grievance handling, separate accused parties from decision-making where appropriate, and provide alternate reporting channels if the grievance involves company leadership.

GBC prohibits retaliation against any stakeholder who raises a good-faith grievance, participates in a grievance review, provides information, or assists in the resolution process. Protected stakeholders may include employees, contractors, nonprofit partners, charitable beneficiaries, raffle participants, vendors, regulators, community members, and other affected parties. Retaliation may include termination, adverse business treatment, exclusion from participation, threats, harassment, intimidation, reduction of opportunity, or any other adverse action connected to the grievance.
